Hi, I’m Jessica Gorbett — a curious, focused, and driven web leader with a foundation in graphic design, a passion for user experience, and a track record of delivering smart, scalable solutions in higher education.
My career in higher education began as a student worker in 2018, sketching out a campus safety map. From there, I moved quickly through development and leadership roles — including managing web operations across 24 departments and later leading strategic UX and CMS modernization efforts.
I bridge gaps. Between design and code, user needs and institutional goals, speed and strategy. I lead with humility, clarity, and purpose, always aiming to deliver work that’s both functional and impactful. I’ve grown through the trust of leaders who recognized my reliability, candor, and curiosity — and I pay that forward by empowering others.
